7.) Next, I can't imagine the pain his ex-wife must be in (after dealing with him and his issues all these years) hearing him talking about someone he literally just met (and is HAVING A BABY WITH) be this one savior who helped him through his issues.

Then, in less than one year, he has checked into rehab, separated from his wife, moved out of his house, relapsed, had an intervention, back into rehab, out, met someone, dated her, divorced his wife, and is now expecting a baby. All of this in like 10 months or so. Even for someone with no addiction and/or mental health issues, this is TOO much.
9.) I'm sending him love though, I can't imagine the courage it must take to be so brave and so vulnerable like so.

The best thing about the Seth interview was their obvious affection for each other but everything else left me on edge. It was long his previous stint at rehab where he relapsed. I know part of the advise for recovering addicts is no new relationships etc. I wish they had given it time. Also, not wanting kids with the ex and yea people can change their mind but man it has to be painful. Still wish them all the best.
ReplyDeleteRight? So painful. Not to mention, after including the ex wife (in an adorable way) in all his previous acts/specials/comedy routines etc. I mean, there's gotta be some informal rule about that:if you're going to use your wife in your stand-up acts, you are not allowed to leave her! Lol.
